Tokemak is a novel protocol designed to generate deep, sustainable liquidity for DeFi and future tokenized applications that will arise throughout the growth and evolution of web3. It can be thought of as a decentralized market making platform and a liquidity router, which disaggregates traditional liquidity provision and market making for DeFi. Sitting "a layer above" decentralized exchanges, Tokemak provides control over where the liquidity flows, and offers an easier and cheaper way to provide and source liquidity.

Tokemak is a decentralized liquidity providing and market-making protocol designed to create efficient, sustainable liquidity across DeFi. Its native token, TOKE, serves as tokenized liquidity, enabling stakers to direct the protocol's total value locked (TVL) as liquidity across various DeFi markets, including SushiSwap, Uniswap, Balancer, and 0x.

How Does Tokemak Work?

Tokemak enables users to provide liquidity and control its allocation. Liquidity Providers deposit single-sided assets into individual Token Reactors or Genesis Pools (such as ETH or USDC) and earn yield in the form of TOKE. Liquidity Directors stake TOKE to receive votes, which are used to direct liquidity and collateralize Token Reactors, allowing them to allocate liquidity to preferred exchanges and earn variable APR rewards in TOKE.

Tokemak stands out by disaggregating traditional liquidity provision and market-making for DeFi. Its Autopilot feature dynamically optimizes the yield of users' assets across various decentralized exchanges and Liquid Staking Tokens, eliminating the need for manual asset management and providing a seamless liquidity provision experience.
